Paul A. Teolis

An award-winning photographer, animator, lecturer, sometimes writer and obsessed traveler, Paul A. Teolis embarked on a successful career working in special effects animation in 1987 on feature films and commercials for such notable studios as Disney Paris, The Animation House and the National Film Board of Canada to name a few.

With more than 100 commercials, several independent films and TV series to his credit, his experience has covered most areas within animation production.

Relocating to Los Angeles, California in 1995, he joined the staff of DreamWorks SKG, founded by Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen. There he was both a sequence supervisor and special effects animator on the studio’s first two animated releases; The Prince of Egypt and The Road to Eldorado.

A parallel career in photography, along with a passion for travel, has taken Paul on a journey through nearly 40 countries on six continents, amassing a large body of photographic work and literary material.

Today, while continuing to work in animation, he maintains involvement on a variety of independent projects to develop creative properties that are animated, literary and photographic in nature.

No work currently on exhibit.
