Born in Montreal, November 17, 1951, of Canadian and Belgian nationality. Abstract notions like verticality, pictorial organisation and treatment of light inspire his work. The references stem from the urban universe like technology or architecture. The research is aesthetic and his commitment is based on letting the matter inspire, instead of trying to justify it in another way. Nonetheless, the paintings have titles and themes that inspire the creation of the artwork. The artist has a passion for photography and this discipline is a reference and an inspiration in his paintings.
